Privacy Policy
The short version: Fast does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal health data. All data stays on your device and in your iCloud account. We have no servers. We see nothing.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Reach Point Lab ("we," "our," or "us"), a division of Reach Point Capital LLC, handles your information in connection with the Fast iOS application ("the App").
Fast is designed to be a simple, private fasting timer. Your fasting data belongs to you, and we have no infrastructure or interest in collecting it.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Fasting session start and end times
- Fasting protocols, goals, or schedules you configure
- Apple Health / HealthKit data of any kind
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Usage analytics, crash reports sent to our servers, or behavioral telemetry
3. Data Stored on Your Device
All fasting data you enter in Fast is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. If you enable iCloud sync, your data may be stored in your personal iCloud account — governed entirely by Apple's own Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.
4. HealthKit Integration
Fast integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and write relevant health data, such as dietary energy and nutrition data. This integration is subject to Apple's HealthKit terms.
- Fast will request your explicit permission before accessing any HealthKit data.
- HealthKit data is used only to display information within the App and to sync entries to Apple Health.
- We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or sell it to any third party.
- HealthKit data is never shared with any third party, including analytics providers.
5. Apple Watch
Fast includes an Apple Watch companion app. Data displayed on or entered via your Apple Watch is transmitted only between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This data never leaves your personal device ecosystem and is not accessible to us.
6. Third-Party Services
Fast does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or data brokers. The only external frameworks used are Apple's own HealthKit and WatchConnectivity, which are governed by Apple's privacy practices.
7. Children's Privacy
Fast is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not collect your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. To remove data from your device, delete the App or clear data through iOS Settings. To remove data from Apple Health, use the Health app directly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available at reachpointlab.com/privacy/fast. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
